Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

On [enter date] I entered into a contract for [such as ee sim only deal].

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, I am entitled to a 7 working days cooling off period, starting from the day after I enter into the contract. I am therefore writing to inform you that I wish to cancel this contract. I require a full refund of all monies I have paid / written confirmation that no payment will be claimed by you, within 30 days.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Mr J Blogs

QUICK TIPS

  • Use this letter to cancel any services you have bought in a long distance selling from EE, T-Mobile UK or Orange UK. These include anything you bought over the internet, telephone, mail orders or through your TV.

  • Remember you have 7 working days, starting the day after you have entered into contract so ask for it to be cancelled forthwith.
