Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

On [insert date] I ordered (e.g. an iPhone 5). I received the goods on [insert date] [I have not yet received the goods]

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 I am entitled to a 7 working days cooling off period, starting from the day after I received the goods. I am therefore writing to cancel the order and request that you provide a full refund within 30 days.

Kindly contact me within 14 days to arrange collection/return of the above goods.

Yours sincerely,

Mr J Bogs

QUICK TIPS

  • Use this letter to cancel any goods you have bought in a long distance selling from EE, T-Mobile UK or Orange UK. These include anything you bought over the internet, telephone, mail orders or through your TV.

  • Remember you have 7 working days, starting the day after you have received the goods so ask for it to be cancelled forthwith.
